Frequently Asked Questions Q:  Is West Coast DJ insured?  A:  Yes.  We carry a two million dollar liability insurance policy.  We cover our employees with workers compensation insurance and we have a 300,000 dollar automobile liability policy. Q:  Is West Coast DJ in compliance with the new requirements for independent contractors that do business with the Washoe County School District? A:  Yes!  We are 100% compliant. Q:  Does West Coast DJ have a business license? A:  Yes we do.  In fact we have a business license that is required by the State of Nevada as well as many local municipalities including Reno and Sparks. Q:  How much does West Coast DJ charge? A:  Our prices are in line with the national average and depends on the date and location of your event.  A price quote can be obtained by visiting our PRICES page.  We do offer discounts for customer loyalty. Q:  Does West Coast DJ download music from the internet? A:  Absolutely not!  Internet downloads are generally not edited or available as radio versions.  An audio download is usually an mp3 and of poor quality.  All of our music is transferred direcly from CD in a non-compressed .wav format for ultimate quality. Q:  Is the music edited? A:  Yes it is.  We subscribe to a music service called Prime Cuts from TM Studios.  They supply us with a weekly disc of the hottest new music.  All of our music is licensed and legal.   All of our music is screened for content and any questionable content is withheld from our playlist. Q:  What style of music does West Coast DJ play? A:  We play a variety of current hits from the top 40 and rhythmic radio charts.  We mix in some techno , party classics and an occasional slow song. Q:  Does West Coast DJ play requests? A:  Absolutely.  We have a request line specifically for text requests which is announced on the microphone at your event and displayed on our video screens as well.  We also accept request lists in advance.
